Jordyn Kusumoto-Perez is a Bay Area character concept illustrator. She is a future graduate of CSU East Bay, holding a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in illustration. She creates narrative-driven artwork, creating sci-fi, action, mystery, and comedic comics.
Her skills include character design, concept development, visual storytelling, composition, proportion, linework, color theory, portraiture, digital painting, rendering, and traditional painting. She specializes in cartoon-style animal character design, with skills in expressiveness and personality.
She also has experience with software such as Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro. She has completed multiple character design and narrative projects using Procreate and has experience working on both individual and collaborative projects throughout her time at CSU East Bay.
